Anyway, while I have your attention!

#SCOTUS has been giving us sort of a "clean-up conference" orders list after the court's done with opinions, so these big orders might hold. -
(In which case we'd probably get them on Tuesday (probably?).)
-
We also could find out about the
#travelban at 9:30a Monday. But, that also could come Monday afternoon, Tuesday morning, or another time! -
Then, at 10a, we'll get the last opinions in argued cases. There are 6 cases left, but we might not get 6 decisions!
-
3 of the 6 cases were argued before Gorsuch joined the bench so, if the court is split, they could hold them for reargument in the fall.
-
Those 3 include the cross-border shooting case and the immigrant detention hearing rights case — 2 of the big 3 cases left.
-
Of the 3 cases left in which Gorsuch did participate, the highest-profile one is Trinity Lutheran, the Free Exercise case about playgrounds.
-
So, we could get anywhere from 3 to 6 decisions tomorrow in those argued cases.
-
Finally, once those opinions are handed down, we will find out if any justice is planning to announce their retirement before recess.
-
I do not expect any retirement announcements, and, if we got one, I'd not think it would be from Justice Kennedy.
-
So, as I said, tomorrow morning could be a ground-shifting morning at
#SCOTUS. Or it could be ho-hum, w further news coming at later points. -
But, for all of it, I'll be at
#SCOTUS for@BuzzFeedNews, so be sure to follow me to find out what's what, starting at 9:15a Monday!pic.twitter.com/qD21ltzNGX
-
In the meantime, I'm off to (watch The Leftovers and then go to) bed. Night, all, and let us be good to one another — and ourselves.
