Back in the old days, this is what we got from the Obama White House each night (with the schedule below the summary):pic.twitter.com/qEvmbwFHBK
Initially, that's what the Trump White House did, too. See: "FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE."pic.twitter.com/CiA4UA3udX
Then, a little more than a week in, it changed to "FOR PLANNING PURPOSES."pic.twitter.com/Qq0GCht5IX
That's like, a middle-ground thing, where we shouldn't publish it, but I guess we can do reporting off of it (or something, it's vague).
Then, when Trump went abroad, they went all the way to "FOR PLANNING PURPOSES/NOT REPORTABLE."pic.twitter.com/RWfcrPlLng
They were abroad, though, so I let it go because I thought it might be related to security precautions.
But, they've kept it that way since. Here's the top of Thursday's schedule: "FOR PLANNING PURPOSES ONLY // NOT REPORTABLE."pic.twitter.com/zUzBmpGRKU
Anyway, I know we have a lot going on, but this is something that has been frustrating me.
So when it says "not reportable" does it mean you literally can't report on what's on the schedule?
