So, THE Clarerence Thomas found IN FAVOR of indigent plaintiffs and UPHELD their TRO against Harris County? I am find this hard to believe.

He denied Harris County's request for a stay of the injunction. It is not a ruling on the merits of the district court's decision.

Thanks for clarifying. But Thomas, by refusing to uphold the stay, puts the Federal District Court's judgment for plaintiffs into effect?

The injunction is in effect, and Thomas declined to stay it.

This means, essentially, Thomas allowed new pro-indigent rules ordered by the District Court to CONTINUE to be implemented?

why do you keep repeating things that have already been made clear to you, and why do you use ALL CAPS to do so?

I suspect you have tweeted these documents bc you can foresee a revolution in bail proceedings nationwide if other jurisdictions follow.Cont

As of today, SCOTUS, though not deciding on the merits, has refused to stay an order not to require bonds in misdemeanor cases? Cont.

I am absolutely baffled. Justice Thomas typically hates defendants like many humans hate frogs and snakes. Why is he offering a lifeline?

He is oddly principled. Doesn't mean he is wise or a good Justice.

I always believed Justice Thomas to be a strict ideologue whose decisions could be foretold by e.g what Jeff Session would think.

I am experiencing cognitive dissonance. This is not the expected behavior of Clarence Thomas. Is he suddenly afraid of going to Hell?

Aren't you surprised by Justice Thomas' refusal of a stay? Doesn't this mean SCOTUS sees no harm to County in letting TRO stand for now?

Sorry. I am just shocked! (Exclamation point instead of caps.) I can't remember Justice Thomas saying or doing *anything* for defendants.
