How many followers back then?

150? 200? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I started Twitter in early March 2009, in advance of the state supreme court arguments over Prop 8.
-
Sometime over the summer we ~celebrated~ when I hit 1,000 followers. So, maybe closer to like 300 or 400.

I was in New York for the Hillman Awards. The most interesting initial part was that Vaughn Walker was taking the case. Meant everything.
-
I miss Walker. Didn't always rule for us in our first NSA spying case, but wasn't willing to just accept gov't claims of grave NatSec risks
-
But he had serious balls in Eisenberg's Al-Haramain case, at least in the long run.
-
And unintentional comedy too. Seriously, a banana peel in a SCIF?
-
Right? Walker was truly pretty awesome, as was his staff to deal with. Unique.
-
He let Laura Poitras film an early hearing in our first case. A bit of it was in her CitizenFour docu
