And Dems, who knee-jerk want to scream (more) about Comey b/c of this, should consider: Is that our best move now?

They collect everyone's email info, but when Russians say someone emailed someone else, even if they have no data to support, FBI believes!
-
I see where you're coming from. That said, is it so implausible that intel was groomed to look the part given the relatively high stakes?
-
I don't get what you're saying. Is it that even though intel was dubious they accepted bc "Clinton Investigation!"? Bc that's the problem
-
When they have an investigation this important they need to be more careful, not believe whatever garbage passes their desk
-
Also, I'd carefully imply that there is almost always the possibility of cooperation, i.e. someone willingly fwd'ing bad intel/bait.
-
The possibility of cooperation is exactly what I'm talking about - The FBI did just what the Russians wanted, knowing it was what RU wanted
-
While this can't be ruled out for obv. reasons, I doubt that a white kight character like Comey would play the part knowingly/willingly.
-
I don't care whether it was willing or unwilling. It was done knowingly. He knew RU was trying to undermine Clinton, and he helped

Murky intelligence that, and I say this with great surity, found its way to Comey through several people's hands. Did someone groom/feed it?pic.twitter.com/BIiEGlxezb
