I'm saying everything is shading and bullshit and posturing right now. That a WH source leaked this means it should be examined for why ...

I don't want to throw out wild speculation about why I think they would do this, but I can think of some reasons why they might.

gotta add into the mix that Rosenstein stopped short of recommending termination in what he wrote
-
Do you tho?
-
just insofar as he may have written the thing expecting Sessions to abide by his recusal
-
After the WH meeting? That would shock me. The language, imho, goes plenty far enough. He doesn't ~really~ leave any other alternative.
-
I don't disagree based on my reading. But it seems clear *they* didn't think he went all the way.
-
otherwise why have Sessions break the recusal and put his paws all over it?

I didn't read it that way at all. The leaked resignation threat makes Rosenstein look more culpable if anything. He. Didn't. Resign.

The 2 RTs you did are ones mocking Rosenstein. See how it could be something WH might want to do to make Rosenstein look bad to all?pic.twitter.com/wKu2lWlqP0

Thx. I thought it was just me, cuz every other journo I've seen opining on this is on that "honor" bandwagon.
