Like, "the president doesn't get how presidenting works" is not a reason to stop asking the president questions relevant to being president.

Should the tone of reporting be as alarmist as it is though?
-
I never said that. The comment I was responding to said to "stop asking him these questions." See this thread:https://twitter.com/chrisgeidner/status/859096845771001856 …

Oh I apologize I wasn't implying that you said that I was just curious what you thought I did not mean any disrespect/malice!

I just think there are better questions to ask him.
-
For example: Specific questions about his family's business activities.
-
There is value to questions about the president's opinions but those questions have opportunity costs.

It's like asking a toddler what they want for dinner. Not going to get useful answers.
-
fair, and I get it. but that the president gives toddler answers doesn't mean we should stop asking him stuff
-
I agree. Except the media just puts his answers out there at face value as if he actually means what he is saying. Not helpful.
-
ya, "does trump want to break up the banks" is silly. no, of course not. he's just a senile old man trying to get through a convo

It's amusing and it reminds us that a man too dumb to be a dictator is President, that's two good uses right there.
