When the language of a criminal statute (or here a warrant) is ambiguous, the "rule of lenity" is supposed to apply.

That is, the ambiguity is supposed to be resolved in favor of the defendant's life or liberty.

Theoretically, that means they are supposed to be finished by the warrant deadline.
