Journalists love this narrative so much

Earlier this month, a different "narrative" story:https://www.buzzfeed.com/darrensands/how-auntie-maxine-became-a-meme-and-the-hero-of-the-anti?utm_term=.hvPWexQPV5#.ovV0P8JeYp …

I read this after
@darrensands wrote it. He always does great work. My earlier comment is not about one journalist in particular. -
A quick search though, does render a number of pieces about the WWC: https://www.buzzfeed.com/tariniparti/democrats-focus-on-their-trouble-with-white-working-class-vo?utm_term=.eb2MdP1wMo#.hye4W5je4N … https://www.buzzfeed.com/matthewzeitlin/deaths-of-despair-white-working-class-americans-are-dying?utm_term=.urbEzbqGEK#.lseLY3a9Lx …https://www.buzzfeed.com/johnstanton/middle-america-trump-supporters-this-is-our-night?utm_term=.jqnnL38jnr#.iizyQWBdy6 …

Two stories from election week (when we prolly published 100+ stories) and one from the business desk. OK. That makes sense to me.
-
I hear the criticism of obsession with WWC voters — and I agree. I just think using this particular piece as evidence of that is misplaced.
-
The piece doesn't obsess over WWC voters which makes me wonder why it's titled the way it is.
