I think symposia themselves, & the issues that follow, are important to law journal students, as a teaching tool about range of discussion.

I think the experience has the capacity, when done well, to force academics to think more about their work in light of colleagues' work.

Thanks. Three thoughts: (1) Rare for it to be done well. (2) Most symposium topics completely beaten to death already in law reviews.
