#SCOTUS granted, vacated, and remanded two Texas cases to be reconsidered in light of Moore v. Texas: James Henderson and Raymond Martinez.
#SCOTUS denied cert in Gardner v. Rideout, NH's attempt to defend its ballot "selfie" ban. 1st Circuit had declared it unconstitutional.

Opinions coming in a few minutes. It's a one-box day. #SCOTUS
First #SCOTUS opinion is McLane v. EEOC. Opinion by Sotomayor, vacating and remanding to the 9th Cir.
The question in McLane related to the standard of review re: a district ct's decision on whether to enforce or quash an EEOC subpoena.
9th Cir had said appeals courts should employ de novo review. #SCOTUS said: No, it's abuse of discretion. Decision: https://www.supremecourt.gov/opinions/16pdf/15-1248_7mi8.pdf …
The second and final decision, from CJ Roberts, is in Dean v. US, reversing the 8th Circuit. #SCOTUS
Here's the court's unanimous decision in Dean, which is a sentencing guidelines-related decision: https://www.supremecourt.gov/opinions/16pdf/15-9260_8nj9.pdf … #SCOTUS
