Angels in America. (The HBO version.) Because I think the play is one of the best pieces of art created in my lifetime.
-
Prior and Harper, at the threshold of revelation. Such an incredible scene. "The world. Finite. Terribly, terribly."
-
We live in a world where someone thought up & expressed that scene, this play, in writing. ... It makes me feel so grateful—& so inadequate.
-
Not "inadequate" in a totally bad sense. Just in awe.

If you don't ~get~ my ANGELS talk, watch or read the play ... and then read this: http://www.slate.com/articles/arts/cover_story/2016/06/oral_history_of_tony_kushner_s_play_angels_in_america.html …pic.twitter.com/pDFvPoECY1

I hope you're feeling better. This all takes a toll. I respect your work and I'd prefer you take care of yourself, come back strong, do more
