Honestly, I'm exhausted.

And, I know I'm not alone in feeling this way! Here's one other person, for example:https://twitter.com/brianstelter/status/844752444211023872 …
-
So, yeah, I just wanted to say something bc I know people see me working a lot, etc. But, I do get tired and frustrated, just like everyone!
-
And, that's ok — and why I do *try* to remember self-care. But, the perfectionist kicks in sometimes and I do wear myself out.
-
At those moments, I do have to stop, take a breath, and remember that I won't be doing anyone any good if I don't take care of myself.
-
And, in different ways and to different degrees, it's the same thing with everyone.
-
So, you're not alone! And, as I say (and will really try to listen to tonight): Be good to one another — and ourselves.
-
It's Thursday. I'm gonna sign off for the night, but I'll catch y'all in the morn. Night, all. Let us be good to one another—and ourselves.

In this new normal, tweet THREADs can be an invaluable tool. May not have time for a feature but can put 3-5 tweets together.

We (the non-journo, news-reading public) are exhausted too. Thank you for all you do. I sincerely appreciate it. It's enough.

I'm an engineer and I can tell you that prioritization is life. Do the most important stuff you can and keep pressing.

Assuming there's anything left the historians will clean it up later.

Could it literally be something algorithmic, or otherwise platform-quirky, about how widely they get shared now, as contrasted with earlier?

I hate to be all "Russia" here, but there's an entire political gameplay built around exhausting the public with absurdities.
