And, there's stuff I'm really good at: tracking complex litigation through the process, explaining issues at intersection of law and policy.

And, a sort of specialty I've developed and love: Taking some historical development and explaining why it's relevant today. So much fun!

In any event, good journalism would be nothing if only my skills were available — or if only any one journalist's skills were available.

There are too many ways to tell too many essential stories. Learning to appreciate the importance of & skill behind all of those ways is

And, as a journalist, having the humility to know—even if you're great!—that you lack some of those skills is important humility to have.
