Does this mean that the court is going to ignore that in favor of what the attorneys say?
-
Not ignore. It's a balancing. He gets the frustration, but the lawyers have told him a new order is coming.
-
He basically said, "I'm watching you."
-
Gotcha. Thanks for explaining.
-
And, reminding DOJ lawyers they are "officers of the court" is a pretty solid warning of "you better not be messing w me."

Is this a whisper of contempt and sanctions the judge could impose if govt lawyers have misled?
-
It is a reminder, which generally needn't be stated, that they are "officers of the court," with the obligations that come w that.
