Two things: (1) The plaintiffs are seeking a stay of removal, not just release, so I ~think~ they still have non-moot claims.
(2) A phrase to be prepared for — "capable of repetition, yet evading review" — which is a way around mootness.

What does this mean for the hearing? Can it go fwd if both plaintiffs now free? Does it need to be filed on behalf of others?
@CNNPolitics does that moot the habeas petition?
How does that tie into the habeas petition and declaring all detained people a class?
Do we know which judge is hearing this?
