Basically, it appears there are House members willing to file a formal objection Friday to the electoral college vote, but no senators.

And under 3 USC 15, one House member and one senator must both object in order for such objection to be considered. (It happened in 2005.)

Incidentally, both members who did so in 2005 (re: Ohio's electoral votes) are no longer in Congress: Sen. Boxer and Rep. Tubbs Jones.
