Just worth mentioning--the NYT story is that Trump *could have* used '95 losses to pay no taxes for 20 years. Not that he did.
... it that shows that a person potentially has political reasons (any of a #) for hiding it is powerful, imho.

Also--FWIW--I view that this was in '95 as prima facie evidence that IRS must have OKed it at some point.
