C-SPAN had, at least earlier, been saying which member's account was being used.

C-SPAN is, apparently, noting the source of the stream in between each speaker. This just came up:pic.twitter.com/Z11R1KIAUj

To be clear, my thing here is not about credit, per se. It's about the fact that journalists aren't providing this coverage.
-
The coverage of the House floor is coming from elected officials — with a very clear, specific interest in providing that coverage.
-
Y'all, I'm glad we have the stream! I just think, journalistically, it's important it be clear this isn't coming "from Periscope."

I see you re: gawker takes on NYTimes
-
Well, this isn't that. It's not about credit here. This is about making clear the source of this video to people.
-
Like, it's not journalists doing this work; it's elected officials. People should know we're getting this from them.

CSPAN has a rotating alert that explains the situation. Good on them!

@dizzycatdesign B/C the rules of the house say you can't have smartphones on the floor. So if they say who, they lose the feed -
Naw. C-SPAN has been and is saying whose feed they're using.
-
Maybe C-Span doesn't care if the feed gets cuts.and they lose their 350 viewers. CNN and MSNBC may care more
