Orlando PD refused to release Mateen's 911 call due to an "active criminal investigation," then FBI puts out a "transcript." Doesn't add up.
Or maybe they closed it? I don't think your questions are necessarily wrong, just thinking it through myself.

If so, then a public records request to OPD filed today ought to yield the audio of the 911 call(s).
