Justice Michael Bolin doesn't go along with Moore, but still wanted to let us know he ain't happy.pic.twitter.com/MSXWDJajZH
Justice Tom Parker is ~exercised~ about all of this. (He's basically Team Moore.)pic.twitter.com/8qN4s6RsUR
Bonus points to Parker for ending with a Reagan quote.pic.twitter.com/DGF2d0qEuz
Justice Glenn Murdock gives us "marriage" scare quotes because he's classy like that.pic.twitter.com/q3Tx7uoxub

And, we've made it to Justice Greg Shaw, who is basically:pic.twitter.com/gcMiG1t8bw
Shorter Shaw: "What were you all doing? What are you doing? What is this world?"pic.twitter.com/OgEpATdm0j
Actual section from Shaw's opinion: "A. All courts follow United States Supreme Court decisions"

And, here we go. (@lyman_brian has been waiting for me to get here.) Check out this footnote:pic.twitter.com/lGP0n1RBiw
The bottom line: The Alabama Supreme Court dismissed the pending case trying to challenge whether the marriage amendment can be enforced.
3 of 9 justices questioned the Supremacy Clause, more (Moore) or less. 1 of 9 said he hated the outcome but follows the Supremacy Clause.
4 of 9 justices said nothing or said no one else was speaking for them. 1 of 9 justices said the case never should have been taken.
So, ultimately, it's 6-3 on Obergefell definitely applying to Alabama's marriage amendment, w/ 3 thinking it's an illegitimate decision.

Turns out, Moore was no match for America either!
Also, we, your followers, have failed you for not retweeting this thread during the AL Senate election. #ExitMoore
@chrisgeidner A crappy book report of a court opinion to say something that the Supreme Court overrules anyways. Grandstanding, much, Moore.
