... so many of my best lives. I get to work at the Supreme Court, work with incredible colleagues, & talk to smart folks across the country.

I often talk about how much I love BuzzFeed & folks I've worked w elsewhere before then, but I also am so grateful to the SCOTUS reporters.
-
So many folks have been doing this for many years (or decades!), & they all have been so generous w their time & minds over the years.
-
I don't want to start naming them because, by now, it's basically every single person there, and I'd hate to leave someone out. But ...
-
... across the board, everyone in the SCOTUS press corps has been nothing but helpful to me as I've navigated my way over the past 6 years.
-
The first argument I covered at
#SCOTUS was Christian Legal Society v. Martinez — six years ago next month. https://www.oyez.org/cases/2009/08-1371 … -
I was at
@metroweekly and was nervous about everything. Now, I'm at@BuzzFeed and—still nervous about everything. (Srsly, ask@kyletblaine.) -
The court and its cases matter to so many people, and I wouldn't want to ~not~ be nervous about telling the story of what happened there.
-
That
@BuzzFeedNews lets me do it, trusts me to do it my way, & supports me—& that@kyletblaine can deal with me to edit me—is a gift. -
This year, being a journalist is the gift that keeps on giving, so I should call it a day. Thanks for reading, RTing, sharing, & commenting!
