Note the state action. State officials contacted NGO to say "the scheduled placement for the Syrian family ... be suspended or redirected."
That seems to me to be going further than the governors have authority to go.
And note how different that is from most of the governors' statements, which were about urging the feds not to place refugees in a state.
ACLU lawsuit against Gov. Pence for refusing Syrian refugees has been assigned to Judge Tanya Walton Pratt, appointed by Obama in 2010.
Incidentally, Judge Pratt also was assigned the Jared Fogle case this year. Busy year for her.
