North and South Carolina — even with varying levels of fighting-back-ness in court — have implemented marriage equality since October.

My point is to note that all of those Southern officials have followed the law, even if they disagree with rulings and sought appeals.

Moore is the first elected official who has a role in implementing these decisions that I know of who's said fed ct ruling might be illegit.
