I called in reference to @AP report that the TX AG's office said there's "no legal reasoning to appeal" Panetti stay. http://apne.ws/1I0Nsye

Texas AG's office spokesman, at the press #, told me, "We've issued no statement today," in the Panetti death penalty case.
-
When I asked for his name, he told me the statement was not for attribution. I told him that's not how it works as I called seeking comment.
-
Meanwhile, everyone's putting out statements celebrating a Labor Dep't rule that hasn't been issued yet.
-
And, now with this reporting on potential Garner news.
