@rickhasen@JoshMBlackman That's not to say I think SCOTUS nec WILL make sure it's heard this term. As we know: SCOTUS does what it wants.Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

@chrisgeidner@rickhasen If BIO filed 12/13, + 12 days, won’t be distributed till 12/30, then at conference 1/16. that would be pushing it -
@JoshMBlackman@rickhasen The "+ 12 days" also followed the reply by 1 day. So, if a quick reply is filed, cld be like "+ 3" days from BIO. -
@chrisgeidner@rickhasen Right, if they waive a reply, or file a quick one, it takes less than 14 days and it would be distributed for 1/9 -
.
@JoshMBlackman@chrisgeidner My bottom line is that SCOTUS would have to work hard for it to be heard this term. But is could happen. -
@rickhasen@JoshMBlackman Not really. If there's no BIO delay, normal process would have it heard this term, most likely. -
@chrisgeidner@rickhasen@JoshMBlackman Problem now is coordination so all four couples file quickly and no one lags (leading to a hold). -
@smmarotta Did you see this? I think they're going to try and work that out today: http://www.buzzfeed.com/chrisgeidner/same-sex-couples-lawyers-plan-next-steps-after-key-appeals-c … -
@chrisgeidner Great article. And there will be lots of questions. One petition or four? And, most importantly, how quickly can they write?

@chrisgeidner@rickhasen If it makes the 1/9 conference it is okay this term without adding days -
@chrisgeidner@rickhasen I like agreeing. I added clearer timeline here http://joshblackman.com/blog/2014/11/06/timing-for-6th-circuit-cert-petition-and-schedule-for-oral-arguments-this-term/ …
