Those seeking to have the requirement — that a voter's ID have their "current residential street address" — enjoined say it discriminates against Native Americans in North Dakota. (The district court agreed.)pic.twitter.com/jbvDolZeBJ
The state countered that the law is needed to prevent fraud and ensure that people are getting the right ballots.pic.twitter.com/zvxiBW1VdO
Correction, via @ssamcham: The ND SCOTUS application (see the thread that this is a reply to) only needed to be a 4-4, not majority, vote for the voter ID requirement to be enforced for this election b/c a tie vote would mean the 8th Cir decision, staying the injunction, stands.
It won't matter, liberals will say Kavanaugh was part of it
Of course the law would discriminate. Who is a citizen and who isn't That is the only discrimination that is allowed on this country.
Kavanaugh needs to recuse for the next 20 years!!
GAAAAHHHH "AS SUCH"
Which clerk wrote Ginsbergs
Does that mean that either Breyer or Sotomayor had to have voted with the majority?
Slight correction: He’s referred to as “Rapist Kavanaugh.”
Yeah, I’m gonna have a real problem addressing him as Justice, but I’m already calling trump “it.” “Rapist” will work in a pinch, though, only if both aren’t mentioned in the same sentence. That’d could get confusing!
Does that mean then it could have been 5/3 (not 6/2), either Breyer or Sotomayor voting with Ginsburg and Kagan?
FACTS are amazing...
But..but..Sotomayor? Where was she?
