Sen. Graham: "[I]f Ms. Ford wishes to provide information to the committee, I would gladly listen to what she has to say and compare that against all other information we have received about Judge Kavanaugh."pic.twitter.com/SKB2XpTKcm

Note that Graham also says: "If the committee is to hear from Ms. Ford it should be done immediately so the process can continue as scheduled."

I asked the Judiciary Committee spokesperson for Grassley twice today — once before his post-Post story statement and once in response to it — whether he planned to give Ford the opportunity to testify. He has not yet answered that question.

JUST IN: Judiciary Comte spokesperson for Grassley, Taylor Foy, tells me Grassley is “actively working” to set up follow-up calls for him and Feinstein with Kavanaugh and with Ford in light of the recent developments. He reiterates there are no plans to delay Thursday’s vote.pic.twitter.com/R2AbmluuOD

Note: In addition to Graham, we also have a second Republican on the committee calling for more information (and, by my read, likely for more than what Grassley seems to be proposing).https://twitter.com/waposean/status/1041449153841254401?s=21 …

Note that in the CNN video with Collins she specifically says that she had read the letter before her call with him — in which he denied the allegations to her.

History Note: Sen. Dianne Feinstein (and Sen. Carol Moseley-Braun) joined the Senate Judiciary Committee in the wake of no women having been serving on the committee during the Clarence Thomas nomination.

In addition to Feinstein, only three other senators remain on the committee now who were there with her in '93: Sen. Grassley, Hatch, and Leahy. All three men have been chair of the committee at points in that time since.

Does anyone know the statute of limitations in MD for this crime? Perhaps the DA could indict if there is none. I have no faith in Republicans so IF this scumbag gets in. Plan th impeachment

There isnt any. But with no police report or physical evidence, it would come down to a she said/he said case and many wouldnt touch it.
