Meanwhile, from the president: He's quoting Dershowitz talking to Tucker on Fox News about Mueller, and asking, with a question mark, whether "the whole thing" was "illegally ... set up."pic.twitter.com/fkyd91AVZr

Per the DC Circuit's automated system, Miller's lawyer was about a minute and a half late. (Won't likely make a difference for Miller, technically, but the court knows and his lawyer has certainly not made a good showing these past few days.)pic.twitter.com/czakTq2k9h
Sasha suggests Miller's lawyer might need to get another 90-second extension so that he will have filed in time.https://twitter.com/ssamcham/status/1039728937264472067 …
In short, what a shitshow. And we've not even gotten to the argument yet.
So, yeah, the brief *definitely* does not comport with the court's rules.pic.twitter.com/zedmtba6u3
Former Roger Stone Associate Asks The DC Circuit To Toss Out A Contempt Order Against Him In A Challenge To Mueller —>https://www.buzzfeednews.com/article/chrisgeidner/mueller-roger-stone-associate-asks-court-toss-out-contempt …
Update: At 4:34a, Miller’s lawyer filed an “ERRATA,” with a (presumably) corrected version of his brief. Two minutes later, he also filed an Appendix. (I’ll upload them shortly.)pic.twitter.com/r1JWcA0Jki
More: The errata fling added 23 pages to the document. It, the appendix, and the original filing all are now included and available in my story. https://www.buzzfeednews.com/article/chrisgeidner/mueller-roger-stone-associate-asks-court-toss-out-contempt …pic.twitter.com/CBDNktSRAb
Update: The DC Circuit modified the "errata" filing by Andrew Miller's lawyer in his appeal of the contempt order to characterize it as a "corrected appellant brief." https://www.buzzfeednews.com/article/chrisgeidner/mueller-roger-stone-associate-asks-court-toss-out-contempt …pic.twitter.com/9xuRtcGXfi
You know, they teach IRAC for a reason. This is an incomprehensible mess.
What’s IRAC?
Issue, Rule, Application, Conclusion. It’s a methodology for analysis and a commonly accepted framework for legal briefs.
Thanks
Here is a visual metaphor for this briefpic.twitter.com/ZQtlb2VBOg
So, at what point will this point no longer have to be adjudicated? It's clearly a stall tactic, and the scope & authority of Mueller's investigation has been repeatedly upheld by Federal courts, exhaustively so.
If I’m not mistaken, he said he’s prepared to take this to.... the Supreme Court?

He needs to remember the Supreme Court chooses what they review...he doesn’t get to “take” it there...
Wow @wolmanj I don’t care how busy you are today, you HAVE to read this. This is the most terribly written brief of all time. In fact, I think it deserves an acronym: MOTEWRBOAT (pronounced: Motorboat)
It’s a formatting shit show. Arguments could be a lot cleaner. But I’ve seen far worse.
Mueller is supervised by Rosenstein. Case closed
