To qualify for funeral assistance, Puerto Ricans had to provide a death certificate or letter from a government official "that clearly indicates the death was attributed to the emergency or disaster, either directly or indirectly." Getting that info was impossible for many.https://twitter.com/TomNamako/status/1039631418073042944 …
Yes ... so, the article has nothing to do with the narrative that you've been pushing in your increasingly-unrelated-to-the-issue-in-the-story tweets.

Good but I’m not pushing anything except a fuller assessment of the PR disaster & tragedy & use of appropriate measures to judge USACE & FEMA activity than simply a “death total” or a declaration of “success.”
-
That's not the part of the story or the tweet. Go elsewhere for that discussion. This is a story and a tweet about FEMA-provided funeral assistance. Have a good day.
-
Also: Your continued unwillingness to address the issue of the story itself speaks volumes.
-
Respectfully you must be mis-focused.
-
Your response to FEMA only approving 75 people for funeral relief since Hurricane Maria is to focus on (1) blaming PR gov't (which our reporting has certainly criticized) and (2) to say "death toll" shouldn't be the focus, which has nothing to do w the story.
-
We've had differences of opinion previously, but I've never thought of you as just being either an asshole or a troll. Today has me confused.
-
Stop it w that troll nonsense & get back to balance. I am.

If you care to respond to this, I’d be glad to hear. But, otherwise, I’m done with this discussion.https://twitter.com/chrisgeidner/status/1039637049601675265?s=21 …
