This Papadopoulos sentencing memorandum (from his lawyers to the court) is like something I read to Henry.

Here's my report on tonight's sentencing memo from George Papadopoulos' lawyers, including the eye-catching claims they make in it about Trump, Sessions, and ... the Greek Foreign Minister. —>https://www.buzzfeednews.com/article/chrisgeidner/george-papadopoulos-special-counsel-sentencing-arguments …

(Also: Sorry for the dead link on the filing document itself earlier in the thread. I accidentally deleted it, thinking I had only posted it for myself because there was an error in the wording of the naming of the file. I re-uploaded it, though, and it's available in the story.)

You have no idea how to correctly use this expression. Petard - French bomb for blowing the doors open Hoisted - blows up in face George P is a kid who has had his life ruined by some jaded and entitled prosecutors. The special counsel will be hoisted by its own petard.

Not when it comes to the machinations of prosecutors looking for a scalp. Twenty eight is a kid when your caught up in this type of thing. Ask yourself what (not what you think) he did that he should have a felony and prison time. This is madness to destroy people for what?

He's been convicted of a felony, but he "only" lied to the FBI. US has quite tough sentencing. There are much younger kids sitting in prison for a little marijuana, which, compared to involving Russia in USA's election, is small potatoes.

I don’t think anyone should be locked up over pot unless they drove and hit someone. My goal is less authoritarian government from each side. Steven Halper was a CIA source. The US govt paid him 1 million over the past year. He is the one who supposedly was the Russian source
