Republicans who were trying to bust the Kavanaugh bubble warned about Kavanaugh’s extensive document trail and the time it would take to review it ... and now it’s Republicans ignoring big parts of that extensive document trail now that he’s been nominated.

Seriously, this shows even more. McConnell was warning about the time the staff secretary documents would take. Fast-forward, and Grassley just refused to include them in his request. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

As
@lex_nyc reminded me, the Kavanaugh memo in my story also has this ~relevant to our 2018 eyes~ part about DOJ not turning over "documents pertaining to an open investigation" to Congress as "standard practice." —>pic.twitter.com/Ba38qnZBov

@TheDemocrats this is your marketing; don’t go after Kavanaugh, go after the process and lack if transparency. What are they hiding? -
We can go after both. The process sucks. GOP rushing. Kavanaugh is a flawed candidate based on his previous statements, actions and rulings. And Trump, as someone under criminal investigation and multiple lawsuits, should not get to name one of his jurors.

-
But it's not our choice. It's McConnell's.
