Chris Geidner Retweeted Leigh Ann Caldwell
Chris Geidner added,
Leigh Ann CaldwellVerified account @LACaldwellDCI’ve deleted this tweet because it incorrectly implies a transactional nature in Kennedy’s replacement. I am told by a source who was not directly part of the talks that Kennedy provided Pres. Trump/ WH a list of acceptable replacements. If there are questions to be raised, they should be raised. Reporters are right to be looking into them and people should be concerned. But the reporting has to be careful. The Politico story on this — https://www.politico.com/story/2018/07/09/brett-kavanaugh-trump-private-meeting-706137 … — says significantly less but is still troubling.

Come on Chris. Third party from a single source isn't "reporting" nor "journalism". Not now, not EVER.

IMO "Not good" is pretty weak. Not trying to pick a fight with you but this type of 3rd party single source crap masquerading as "journalism" only feeds the fake news dogma. One could hope that real journalists would loudly and strongly denounce it for what it is: Crap!
