He didn’t say it mattered most (or even how much). He just answered the question. (And is one of the people most of us would say is rather qualified to do so.) It just seemed weird for a law professor to jump in to argue with a point no one was making.*

* = I guess that’s actually very professorial, which I suppose answers my question. It still seemed weird for a law prof to argue against clarity, accessibility, conciseness, or whatever else one would use to judge good writing.
