This is ridiculous. DOJ put out a statement announcing that they were rescinding 24 guidance documents. Now they're like, "Well, by 'rescinded,' we just meant there was a more updated version already in place for some of these."https://twitter.com/ZoeTillman/status/1014298273836883969 …

It's beginning to read to me like Sessions or someone high up at DOJ told them that they needed a second set of withdrawn guidance, and so people tried to figure out how they could get the number bigger to look like they were doing more.
