I’m talking about beyond the obvious “White House aides realized early on that they were unable to stop Trump from ripping up paper after he was done with it and throwing it in the trash or on the floor” part.

Odd? What a kind turn of phrase.
-
No. It’s intentional.
-
Alas, It was a failed attempt by me to understatedly express odd was far kinder a phrasing than the info within deserved.
-
Ironically, one of the odd things in my view is the way the story was written!

The guys who were taping the papers together were asked to resign no cause or reason given. If this upsets you I suggest you contact your representative and copy speaker Ryan. That's what I did. The Presidential Documents Act is a law. I think it was enacted because of Watergate.

It all seems so remote and existential right now but but discovery process alone in all the existing civil service terminations/civil actions/criminal actions, let alone those possibly to come, from this Administration's acts will literally be unprecedented I'm guessing.

-
I think he did it as an old habit of destroying the evidence. Mobster behavior.

Agree. In fact, it’s so odd that I question its veracity– on 5 or 6 different levels.
