When do we find out about bail/pretrial confinement?
-
June 12th I think
-
I had a brain fail. It’s the 15th and Manafort has to file an answer to the bail revocation motion by today. Hopefully we’ll get to see it once it’s filed.
-
Couldn’t the judge just pull it due to the indictment?
-
Technically, yes, but if she did that without giving him the opportunity to respond it risks any conviction on the charges against him being overturned later. By waiting until Friday she can’t be accused of acting without giving him due process, & his ankle monitor keeps him here

Yes. Finally some good news today. Hoping for more drops while Trump is out of the country.

Sigh. You do realize it’s quite possible that corrupt global networks can transcend team politics, right? Your point is shallow and moot. Keep weaving that cognitive dissonance into conspiracy theory for “your team” though. The rest of us will keep paying attention without you.
-
You’ll see where this ends up. And I’m telling you it’s NOT Trump.

-
You couldn’t have missed the point any more completely. Good luck processing future reality; you’re gonna need it.

If these are still Federal, not State charges they will all just be pardoned by Trump.
-
Pardoning requires guilt, which would make a stronger case against Trump
-
They're just charging Manafort with a FRACTION of the possible charges against him. And if Trump *did* pardon him, there are state charges that could be filed, and Manafort might lose 5th amendment rights against self incrimination & be compelled to testify before Congress, etc.
