Sigh because nothing is more American than discriminating against gay couples?

This case wasn't about discrimination. Read the ruling. It was about whether sometimes religious views were infringed. Kennedy even writes they did NOT address any discrimination claims, because that's not what this case is addressing.

I see, thank you for the insight. Which part of Ginsburg and Sotomayor's dissent says they disagree because they're anti-American?

Unfortunately nobody bothers to comprehend what that says. Too many are just reacting to headlines rather than trying to understand the ruling and how it's not about religious freedom. But thanks for posting it anyway. The struggle is real.

How is it not about religious freedom. He would have sold them a premade cake. They wanted him to design one. He would not as doing so would imply he approves of a marriage against his religious doctrine. He said no because of this.

The overall principle of the case was about that, but that's NOT the issue SCOTUS addressed.

Justice Kennedy even said that principle would most likely come before the court again, in a more directly related case.

Correct. I was just confused by the original statement as it not being a case of religious freedom, which it is, but it’s just about his freedom to operate as he does. Not a precedent for every following case. Which is the way it should be. Each case should be judged on its own.

I dunno why Colorado has a Commission for Human Rights at the state level, when we have a federally recognized Bill of Rights. Seems like a redundant, bureaucratic, waste of tax payer dollars.

Because we have a federal system in America, which means there are state laws in addition to the federal ones. Colorado's civil rights commission hears complaints relating to Colorado laws.

I hear that, but aren't all issues of human rights/civil rights already addressed are the federal level in 2018?
