    It's really about developing relationships and getting to know and understand what your kids need and want. Emdin talks a lot about letting student co-teach. That is a great way to get them involved. Ask them to present material in a creative way. See what they give u!

    Facilitated a weekly free write & voluntary teamwide share-out in Humanities today. A student who is always goofing off decided to share his writing. He wrote the most powerful poem/rap about a deceased elementary school friend. Ss & I publicly praised him. TALK ABOUT GROWTH! 🙌🏽 – at High Tech High
