This article took me a very long time to research, but I wanted to understand why women don't become entrepreneurs or think of themselves as entrepreneurs when they do start businesses. I hope it's a starting point for change.

If Twitter wants to root its values in human rights law, it should start by going back to the values it began with, and stop responding to removal requests from authoritarian countries ()

From the GFW to GDPR and now this, it’s pretty clear we’re entering something akin to a “warring states period” of internet governance - no one hegemon but many competing and intersecting visions of what the internet is and how it should operate.

Russian actors were directly involved in 2017 with what happened in Charlottesville. Do you think they aren’t working to sow discord this weekend? It never ends.

ICYMI, Twitter conceded on Friday night that InfoWars has, in fact, broken its rules (contrary to what declared earlier in the week). But Twitter says, despite the violations, Alex Jones & InfoWars will be permitted to stay on the platform.

Trump didn’t “call for peace,” . He used coded language—“all types of racism”—to signal his fellow white supremacists to feel as aggrieved as those whom they terrorize and kill. He sought to dilute the meaning of a word. Please do not do the same.

An utterly fascinating moment in internet, legal, and (weaponization of social media) history: being served, via Twitter, for its role in trying to illegally influence the 2016 US election

Another day, another example of falling flat on its face. Apparently the word "lesbian" is triggering Twitter's ad filter.

this retrospective from on one of the most important stories of 2016 is a defense, yet his own guilt betrays him in certain grafs. The framing, headline and the reliance on a single source for its most important claim were all badly mishandled.

Two points: 1. The scale of human suffering being inflicted here by China is unimaginable. 2. This is what the Chinese Communist Party is capable and willing to do to its own people. No one can ever plead ignorance again. This is a massive crime against humanity.

Talk about a Trump distraction: is a whopper. The Pentagon hates it and Congress will almost certainly not fund anything like what and Pence imagine. But dealing with the massive reorg ‘idea’ will waste lots of valuable time and resources.
