    you think P&G/Billie should be concerned? Unlike Harry’s, they’re almost entirely DTC (first partner was Madewell in 2019) a la DSC. And Harry’s owned mfg is absolutely a factor. Perhaps not enough market share to be considered a problem yet.

    P&G has a massive hold on women’s shaving. Will their recent acquisition of Billie be blocked? The FTC is attempting to do just that with Edgewell’s purchase of Harry’s—and Edgewell has far less market share in men’s (13.6%) than P&G does in women’s.

    Is it fair to Harry’s? Not really. Is it solid antitrust logic? Somewhat. Could the FTC have mandated cost controls through an amendment to the purchase agreement? It’s possible. Will the filing stand? That’s when things will get even more interesting.

    High UPT (units per transaction): Distribute baked-in shipping costs across your top sellers. Create bundles & custom packs. Marketplaces/dropship: Free shipping may be unsustainable. But, consider using dist centers for better fulfillment. Invest in loyalty programs & freebies!
