I genuinely don't think they even realize that they are being condescending, this is their default "it's just jokes" attitude, completely oblivious that they out of hand dismiss a fan's suggestion.

Yeah they do. He thought that was a zinger. He may as well have told her to make him a sandwich that was so brazen. He got cheers for saying it. He isn’t fighting bro culture, he embodies and enables it.
