I thought that the Commodore 64 was lame at the time, though I was secretly jealous of its 64KB of RAM. (My Atari 400 had 16KB.) But later, after I became an Amiga fanatic, I retroactively gave it its due.

I still can't understand why Meta's acquisition of Within is a big concern, but Microsoft buying Activision-Blizzard (on the heels of buying Bethesda, Mojang, and many more) is fine.

First: Apple's M1/M2 is amazing. But here's the reality we and other publications see: A lot of people want to buy Windows laptops for workloads that use Windows software (or perhaps Linux.) Telling people to buy a MacBook instead is not helpful.

All this talk about the latest MacBooks has once again made me hyper-conscious of how this Surface Laptop spends all day toasting my hands because I have a few browser tabs open. To be fair, it's pretty nice in the winter. (And I've used laptops that ran much, much hotter)
