Echoing my friends here at @Bungie: There's a ton to be excited about and I'm so grateful to be along for the ride.
That said, I want to use this opportunity to respond to something I've been seeing a lot of lately:
"I'm not good enough to apply to Bungie (or other studio)." 1/

If you do get a response, or even an interview, that's great! Now you have the opportunity to speak with recruiters and hiring managers and start building a network. But even if you bomb that interview, it can still become a great learning opportunity for the next one. 5/

The reason I'm saying this is because I've seen SO MANY people count themselves out before they even get started. I had zero industry experience when I started at Bungie. YES, I was very lucky, but no amount of luck would have gotten me the job if I had never applied. 6/

Luck is the intersection between preparation & opportunity. If you're prepared but have no opportunity, that's unlucky. If you have an opportunity but you're not prepared, that's unlucky. So get prepared and start looking for opportunities. Never close the door on yourself. 7/

So again, I'm hugely blessed and excited to be at Bungie - now more than ever. Working here has genuinely changed my life, and has opened more doors for me than I could ever express. But I never would have gotten here if I didn't believe in myself and take that first step. 8/

If that helped you muster up the courage to give it a shot, here's our careers page. Maybe one day I'll see you here. 9/ https://careers.bungie.com
