What do companies do when things like this force remote work at scale? Will they ignore that they are more productive and collaboration doesn’t suffer? Imagine going back to office work after! Millions of 💰 a year of unnecessary expense

Wasting 23 days a year of your life commuting is dumb beyond belief Doing so at the risk of contracting a deadly virus makes it even worse The last recession led to co-working This will lead to remote work

I believe the majority of what we discussed around gaming was to do with user 'presence'. In online gaming it's common to be in the room, just muted, so anyone in the room can just call out to you as in an office. With most existing platforms, you have to ring/msg and answer.

The vast majority of answers for the future of work can be found within online gaming 🎮 Work will begin to look like a mix of the two Keyboard & mouse input = a terribly inefficient UI for some things – hasn't been enough innovation in this space About to be an explosion 🧨💥

It's not: Remote work vs. Office-work Or even: Remote-first vs. Office-first It's: Async-work vs. Sync-work and: Async-first vs. Sync-first Everyone who's worked remotely knows it's the superpower that enables them to do their best ever work And nobody is building Async tools

Rather than the number of remote jobs growing as companies create or offer new remote role The total size of the market would grow by converting existing roles For remote work to become more widespread this is what has to happen
