    This scene comes from the 1937 film SH! THE OCTOPUS. The transition was done in-camera by using different light filters. One doesn't show the makeup while the other does, resulting in this terrifying transformation.

    In 1986, Mattel advertised a contest with the grand prize being a role in Cannon's Masters of the Universe movie. This wasn't just a background role -- the little boy who won was covered in makeup and prosthetics and became Skeletor's pint-size servant, "Pigboy."

    From 1984-86, Ladybird books (with Pickwick Tell-A-Tale) produced their Horror Classics range - beautifully illustrated little books with a cassette dramatization to boot! That 'Mummy' cover is genuinely chilling...
