We went to a Sonic for the first time last Sunday. I doubt I'll ever bother to go back. My sandwich was so cold that the chicken had gone tough, the chedd'r peppers were average, and they took like 25 minutes to get the food to us. The milkshake was good.

I guess I'm chalking the whole catastrophe up to, people don't know, don't care, or can't afford to care (must work or will become homeless etc).
It wouldn't help to have mobs start attacking anyone who appears to have a rash of any kind. But I suspect that will happen soon.

Surely people NOTICE they are covered in itchy bumps like chicken pox??
But then again, hives, atopic allergies and other things might look similar.
But it SHOULD be manageable.

Obviously this isn't working, unfortunately: the photo of the man on public transit in Spain, bare legs covered in visible pox, who claimed his doctor told him it was fine to go out in public as long as he wore a mask...
I suspect Covid fatigue makes people just shrug.

IF Monkeypox is only transmissible when pox are showing (droplets in the air, skin contact, fluid transfer, contaminated items (fomites)), THEN it becomes slightly easier to help control it.
The initial symptoms should keep anybody home and the visible pox should be a red flag.

Today I pulled a freshly laid pigeon egg out of the flight cage nest box and replaced it with a plastic one. Pigeons breed prolifically. I have 6 and will be adopting some Rollers soon.

Lots of women cannot carry a pregnancy successfully due to their hormones not functioning correctly. Sometimes doctors can adjust for that. Sometimes they can't. And when they can't, the woman mourns again. It's *fiddly*.
