the majority of MPEG4 specs are chock full of fantasy features that were never implemented by _anything_ ever
15 or so years ago, there was an april fools joke article in the magazine c't, about a new compression scheme for movies: take out the actors, so that their data can be reused for multiple movies. Is that in the MPEG4 specs too? :P
