I wonder how much more articulate I could become. Is that even a generalizable thing or does articulation depend largely on properly understanding what I would like to say?

i’ve reached a level of spoken (not written) articulateness where i can quickly verbalize, in detail, almost all my thoughts of nearly any complexity after i reached that point, i found the best way to level up my verbal skills was to learn how to judiciously shut the hell up

yeah pretty much. when i’m riffing and flowing the words just pour out, no transcription needed it’s a little like riding a bike, or mastering the controls to a video game—the words cease to feel like a lossy/delayed conduit for transmitting the stuff in my head

typing this out, i’m like hyper aware of how this could be perceived as ignorant or dunning-krugery i could very easily be overestimating myself here, but the gap in my talking v. writing proficiency has definitely felt pretty significant for a whilehttps://twitter.com/choosy_mom/status/1215012798880714752 …
