i’d like to see and hear about more asian american people: - struggling with their emotions - being bad at math and good at art - embodying “coolness” and taste - having poor families and complicated histories - failing earnestly, breaking rules, suffering consequences

ofc, just because my early relationship with asianness was a little dysphoric doesn’t mean i get to gatekeep the identity i’m just a shrek-themed alt and i definitely haven’t consumed the entire asian american “canon”, so if you have recommendations i would love to hear them :)
